Installation Note 31252: Installation Action D generates jobs that contain JCL errors
Installation Action D is not functional in SAS® 9.2 (TS1M0). If you perform an Action D installation, the following JCL errors occur in one or more of the generated installation jobs:
IEF645I INVALID REFERBACK IN THE DSNAME FIELD
If you want to do a staged installation with an existing SAS 9.2 system, make a copy of your SAS system and then perform an Action B installation directly against the copy. After testing is complete, you can then replace your production system with the updated copy.
